History 

Moheshkhali is a upzila of Cox's Bazar district. Which is located in the southeast of the Bangladesh . Near of Bay of Bangal (longest sea beach of the world ) map  .There are more then 3 lac people of different occupation . Most of the people live on sea by fishing and collecting salt . The people of this island is very polite and hospitality .

Digital Island : Now a days this island is announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina  as a first digital island of Bangladesh .

Named of Moheshkhali :     In 1667 first named this island is Moheshkhali . From this day the development of Moheshkhali is increasing day by day . 

Natural beauty :    Its only one hilly island of Bangladesh . This island is full of natural beauty . High hill near the river is most attractive views of this land . There are some historical place for visitor . Click here 




Natural forest :   There is a natural forest like mangrove forest with huge source of birds and animal .

Salt is most important product of Moheshkhali island . The suitable season for collecting salt is winter. A large number of people depends on the salt production.
